Who I am and what I do:
Colleen Vallone, Art and Vocal Music Teacher
What subject I love teaching:
I love teaching all subjects! Being able to teach them about the Catholic faith is a blessing!
Why I work here:
The staff is truly like an extended family that works together to give all students opportunities to be the best they can be.
What I do when I’m not at school:
I love sports and fitness. I teach water aerobic classes two nights a week and enjoy working out with my husband at the local fitness club a couple of nights. I have several flower gardens and a vegetable garden which keep me busy during the Summer. My husband and I can several of the vegetables. I travel to Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Stanley, NY to visit my four daughters and their families. Tent camping takes up most of our Summer weekends.
Other things I love:
Periwinkle is my favorite color. Shark’s Chocolate Butter Fudge is my favorite ice cream. Little Women is my favorite movie. Watching my daughter’s play sports (basketball, soccer, long distance running). Hanging out at Our Lady of LaSallette Shrine and Notre Dame Retreat House are two of my favorite places. Spending time with Sasha and Rhylie (my two German Shepherds).
